THE MINI ME'S / THE BLACK WIDOWS / THE RUFF RIDERS
TEAM MANAGER will: (Kenya / Miriam / Ciana)
· Consult with the commissioner (Ms. Stacey) regarding attendance and dress
· Serve as the link between the commissioner (Ms. Stacey) and the team
· Confirm all scores with the Scorekeeper at the end of each game
· Be responsible for the smooth workings of the team
· Have a sense of appropriate behavior and good people skills
· Can mediate players who have complaints and related concerns
The HEAD COACH will: (Ravyn / Miriam / Ciana)
· Be responsible for running practices for their team
· You will meet with Ms. Stacey in the beginning of class to get the play list
· You will then teach the plays and drills to your team members during practices
The EQUIPMENT MANAGER will: (Armani / Saleanna / Arnelle)
· Get equipment from the commissioner (Ms. Stacey) after consulting with the coach and fitness trainer
· Be aware of the space and equipment that is available to the team
· Return equipment
· Report any problems with equipment including damaged equipment
· Report any individuals disrespecting equipment which may result in loss of points for their team
The SAFETY AMBASSADOR will: (Hillary / Genesis / Kathleen)
· Ensure the safety of each member of the team
· Perform daily inspections checking for jewelry, gum chewing, sneakers, and proper attire
· Survey playing area for possible safety concerns prior to play
· Ensure the proper use of equipment that is available to the team
· Communicate with other team Safety Ambassadors when a situation is deemed dangerous in regards to another team
The STRENGTH AND CONDITIONING TRAINERS will: (Valerie & Destiny R / De'Shinaye & Justine / Me'Shell & Alexis W.)
· Be responsible for leading the team through their warm-ups everyday
· The trainer must include jogging, stretching, upper body strength, and abdominal strength during the warm-up
· Ensure the stretches and exercises are safe and effective for the day’s workout
The SCOREKEEPER / STATISTICIAN will: (Stephanie G. / Fadua / Elizabeth)
· Be responsible for keeping score of the game as well and who has scored, how they scored, and where they scored a point
· You MUST report the score to the Commissioner (Ms. Stacey) after each game
· Failure to report the score will result with a score of a zero for your team, even if the game has been won
· You will confer with the Reporter at the end of each game, as the reporter will write up a summary of the game, based on your notes
· *This is a non-playing position
The REPORTER / PUBLICIST will: (Megan / Bernarda / Paola)
· Be responsible for all public relations
· Be in charge of daily promotion. Creatively promote her team (wear team colors, advertisements, gimmicks, etc…)
· Help the team come up with a team chant
· Be responsible for coming up with the team handshake
· Watch and write up a brief summary about the game that has been played that day
· You will confer with the scorekeeper / statistician to compare notes and scores
· You must hand in your work to Ms. Stacey on the following day.
